Memorial Park

Memorial Park is a 72-acre public park located in Athens, Georgia. Situated in the Five Points neighborhood, it is one of the most popular family destinations in the area. The park features a mix of developed recreational areas and undeveloped wooded land, providing visitors with a variety of activities and natural spaces to enjoy.

At the heart of Memorial Park is Bear Hollow Zoo, a wildlife trail that houses native Georgia animals that are non-releasable to the wild. The zoo is home to several species including black bears, bobcats, white-tailed deer, and various birds of prey.
