Dudley Park

Dudley Park is a 32-acre green space located in Athens, Georgia, situated at the confluence of Trail Creek and the North Oconee River. The park is conveniently positioned just a short walk from downtown Athens and the University of Georgia campus.

Dedicated in 1953, the park was named in honor of Alonzo Gordon Dudley, who served as mayor of Athens from 1926-1935 and again from 1938-1939. Dudley Park features a diverse landscape of majestic hardwood trees and open fields, providing visitors with a natural retreat within an urban setting.

The park serves as an important junction for two major multi-use trail networks: the North Oconee River Greenway and the Firefly Trail.
