Parkcenter Park

Parkcenter Park is a 13-acre special use park located in east Boise, Idaho. The park is situated along Parkcenter Blvd and is managed by the City of Boise Parks and Recreation Department.

The park features a large pond that is a popular spot for fishing, particularly during spring and summer months. The Idaho Department of Fish and Game regularly stocks the pond with fish species including rainbow trout, bluegill, largemouth bass, and catfish. The pond is surrounded by a paved path, making it accessible for walking or jogging.

Parkcenter Park is known for attracting various waterfowl species, especially during the spring and summer seasons. This makes it an ideal location for bird watching enthusiasts. The park's location near the Boise River Greenbelt also provides additional opportunities for wildlife observation.

The park was originally donated to the city in 1979 by Morrison-Knudsen, Inc. It offers visitors a blend of recreational activities and natural scenery, serving as a pleasant outdoor space for local residents and visitors alike.

Visitors should note that parking at the park is restricted to a maximum of 2 hours. The park is open from sunrise to sunset, allowing guests to enjoy its amenities throughout the day.
