Williams Park

Williams Park is a neighborhood park located in Southeast Boise, Idaho. Spanning just under 8 acres, the park provides a variety of recreational opportunities for local residents. The park features both open grassy areas and more developed facilities for sports and leisure activities.

The park includes tennis courts and a basketball court for those interested in racquet sports or shooting hoops. For families with children, there are two playground areas - one designed for younger children aged 2-5 years old, and another for older children aged 5-12 years old. Both playgrounds have wood chip surfaces for safety, though neither includes swing sets.

Walking paths wind through the park, allowing visitors to stroll and enjoy the green space. For those looking to relax, there are game tables available as well as open grassy areas suitable for picnics or casual games.

Williams Park also participates in a dog off-leash program, which began in July 2013 in response to neighborhood requests. Dogs are allowed off-leash in a designated area of the park during specific morning and evening hours, varying slightly by season.

The park is open from sunrise to sunset daily, providing a accessible green space for the surrounding community throughout the year. Two parking lots are available for visitors arriving by car.
