Maple Grove Park

Lakeview Maple Grove Park, commonly referred to as Lakeview Park, is the oldest and one of the most picturesque parks in Nampa, Idaho. Spanning over 44 acres, the park is noted for its scenic beauty, mature trees, and a range of amenities that cater to visitors of all ages. It is conveniently located near the entrance to Nampa from the Garrity exit, making it easily accessible for the community and tourists alike.

Historically, the land was homesteaded by Orson F. Persons in 1888, and it once featured a man-made lake called Lake Ethel. This lake was originally constructed to store irrigation water but later became a popular site for swimming and fishing. Although the lake no longer exists, the park’s rich history continues to be a point of interest for its visitors.

Lakeview Maple Grove Park offers a wealth of facilities and activities. Its expansive open areas and picnic shelters, which can be reserved for gatherings, make it an ideal spot for community events and private celebrations. Visitors can also cool off in the Lakeview Water Park within the premises, which includes a beach entry, water spray features, and a two-story slide.
