About Lloyd Square Park in Nampa
Lloyd Square Park is an urban park located in the heart of downtown Nampa, Idaho. The site was transformed into a park in 2016 after previously serving as a parking lot. Historically, it was the location of the former Lloyd Lumber Company lumber yard. Two original structures from the lumber yard remain and have been repurposed as event spaces, adding a touch of the city's heritage to this unique public space.
This park serves as a hub for community activities and events, offering a vibrant atmosphere in an urban setting. It features a substantial open grassy area, a stage for performances, and buildings available for rental. These facilities are often used for farmer’s markets, weddings, food truck rallies, and public events such as live concerts and outdoor markets. The largest building at Lloyd Square Park is 2,432 square feet in size and includes restrooms as well as flexible indoor-outdoor event space. A second building, measuring 1,980 square feet, is also available for additional rental. Visitors often find the park a lively yet relaxing venue, whether they are attending events or simply enjoying the green space during the warmer months.
