About Bob Arnold Northside Park in Fort Wayne
Bob Arnold Northside Park is a 37.47-acre community park located at E. State Boulevard and Parnell Avenue in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Established in 1978, this park was formerly the site of the State School and Training Center. In 1979, the land was officially transferred to the City of Fort Wayne for public recreational use. A highlight of the park is its disc golf course featuring nine holes, ideal for players ranging from beginners to intermediate levels. Additionally, the park includes multiple sports facilities such as basketball courts, tennis courts, ball fields, and an informal soccer field. Among its popular attractions, the Northside Pool operates during the summer with water slides, a splash pad, shade umbrellas, swimming lessons, concessions, and a space for aquatic fun.
