About Al Polin Park in Indianapolis

Al E. Polin Park is a small yet meaningful green space located in the Mapleton-Fall Creek area of Indianapolis, Indiana. Established in 1973, the park occupies approximately 2 acres of land. Originally named Talbott and 29th Park, it was later renamed in honor of Alfred "Al" E. Polin, a steadfast community activist who dedicated his life to enhancing the local neighborhood.

Despite its compact size, the park offers a vibrant community atmosphere. It is particularly shaped by its proximity to the Ivy Tech Community College campus, making it a hub for residents and students alike.
