In 2023, the City of Overland Park completed a trail project connecting Cherokee Park to Meadowbrook Park via a 10-foot-wide trail along 91st Street. This addition not only provides a pedestrian link between the two parks but also offers safe access from adjacent neighborhoods to the Metcalf Avenue retail area.
