Linwood Park North, situated in Wichita, Kansas, spans 14.28 acres and provides a serene setting for family-friendly gatherings and outdoor activities. The park is part of the broader Linwood Park system and is located near Harry Street and Hydraulic Avenue, with convenient access via Interstate 135. The park features a historic open shelter built in 1936, which is open on three sides and equipped with lighting and electrical outlets. The shelter, measuring 40 by 23 feet, sits on a patio with additional space, making it ideal for events. The assembly area within the park includes a stage and bench seating capable of accommodating up to 300 people. Visitors can also enjoy the park's 0.65-mile paved exercise and fitness trail, which connects to the larger Canal Hike and Bike Trails—a 4.9-mile path extending underneath and alongside the I-135 Canal Route.

Picnic enthusiasts can take advantage of the 48 stationary picnic tables, including a unique horseshoe-shaped table that seats 75 people. A charcoal grill is available for cooking, and restrooms are conveniently located near the picnic area. The park also includes a playground for children, ensuring a mix of leisure and activity options.
