Riverside Gardens Park

Riverside Gardens Park is a 10.43-acre public park located in Louisville, Kentucky. Situated along the Ohio River on the city's west side, this park offers a blend of recreational facilities and natural scenery.

The park's history is intertwined with the development of the surrounding Riverside Gardens neighborhood. Originally, the area consisted of vacation homes that later transitioned into year-round residences, contributing to the park's community-oriented atmosphere.

Riverside Gardens Park plays a significant role in Louisville's broader recreational landscape. It serves as a trailhead for the Louisville Loop, a planned 110-mile trail system circling the city. In 2007, the first stretch of this trail was completed to Lees Lane in Riverside Gardens, including a $2 million bridge over Mill Creek.
