Lake Dreamland Park

Lake Dreamland Park is a small urban park located in Louisville, Kentucky. Established in 1972, this modest 1.38-acre green space serves as a local recreational area for the surrounding community. The park is open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Despite its name, Lake Dreamland Park does not actually contain a lake. The park's name is derived from the nearby Lake Dreamland neighborhood, which has an interesting history dating back to the 1930s when developer Ed Hartlage attempted to create a resort community around an artificial lake.

The park provides basic recreational facilities for local residents, offering a place for outdoor activities and community gatherings. While small in size, Lake Dreamland Park contributes to the green spaces available in Louisville's urban landscape.
