Barry Park

Barry Park is a public park located in Lynn, Massachusetts. Spanning 9.8 acres, it serves as an urban oasis for residents and visitors. The park is situated on Boston Street, between Laurel and Cottage Streets.

Barry Park offers a variety of recreational facilities for different age groups and interests. It features a youth softball/youth soccer field, providing space for organized sports and casual play. Recent improvements to Barry Park include the addition of a splash pad, installed in 2022 as part of a multi-year phased investment substantially funded by a PARC Grant. This brightly colored splash pad with interactive elements offers a refreshing retreat during hot summer months.

The park also features new accessible pedestrian connections, enhancing its usability for all community members. Additionally, a stormwater management project is being designed and installed at the northern edge of the park by the parking lot to help reduce flood impacts.
