Welcome Young Park

Welcome Young Playground is a municipal park located in Quincy, Massachusetts. The park serves as a recreational space for the local community, offering various facilities for outdoor activities and relaxation.

Situated in the Wollaston neighborhood, Welcome Young Playground spans an area of 3.16 acres. The park is named after Welcome G. Young, a City Councilor from Ward Six who served from 1919 to 1929. Young made his living in the wholesale toy industry and was a member of the Masonic Fraternity.

The playground provides a mix of recreational amenities suitable for different age groups and interests. It features both active play areas and spaces for more passive recreation, making it a versatile community resource for Quincy residents.
