River Rouge Park

Rouge Park, located on Detroit's west side, is Michigan's largest urban park, spanning 1,184 acres. Established in 1925, the park features a rich blend of natural areas and recreational facilities, making it an invaluable green space for the community. The Rouge River flows for 4.6 miles through the park, serving as its centerpiece and offering visitors an opportunity to engage with nature through its forests, prairies, and wetlands.
