Joe Taylor Park

Joe Taylor Park is a small urban park located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The park spans approximately 2.3 acres and offers a variety of recreational facilities for visitors of all ages.

The park features a splash pad, which is a popular attraction during warm weather. The splash pad includes bucket dumpers and spraying rings for children to enjoy. Adjacent to the splash pad is a toddler-focused playground with woodchip surfacing. The playground equipment includes baby swings, a small structure with slides, and a springy merry-go-round.

Joe Taylor Park was designed with sustainability in mind. The park utilizes LED parking lot lighting and employs a system that reuses splash pad water for irrigating the trees and lawn. Additionally, the park features a permeable parking lot, contributing to its eco-friendly design.
