Frank G. Nifong Memorial Park, located in Columbia, Missouri, spans 58 acres and is a multifaceted community destination that blends outdoor recreation with cultural and historical experiences. One of its highlights is the Boone County History & Culture Center, which showcases local history and facilitates cultural education. The park also features the Historic Village at Boone Junction, consisting of preserved structures such as Pop Collins Cabin and the Ryland Victorian House, representing life in the 19th century.
Another significant feature of the park is the historic Maplewood Home and grounds. The Maplewood Home, dating back to 1877, displays Italianate architectural influences and offers guided tours from April to October. Complementing this is the Maplewood Barn Community Theater, where visitors can enjoy live performances in a unique outdoor setting.
