Auburn Hills Park is a 12.2-acre neighborhood park located in Columbia, Missouri, serving the Auburn Hills Subdivision off of East Brown School Road. The park is a serene space offering both recreational and natural amenities for residents and visitors. It was developed to meet the community's need for accessible green spaces, as identified in Columbia's 1994 Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plan. Purchased in 2002 and developed with funding from the 2005 Park Sales Tax, Auburn Hills Park was dedicated in October 2009.
The park features a combination of recreational infrastructure and open natural areas. Visitors can enjoy a 0.3-mile gravel trail that loops within the park, providing an excellent pathway for walking or jogging. Families with children will appreciate the playground, which is designed as a safe and enjoyable area for younger visitors. For sports and activities, the park includes a half basketball court and an open play field that encourages various outdoor games.
