Swope Park

Swope Park, located in Kansas City, Missouri, spans an impressive 1,805 acres, making it the largest park in Kansas City and one of the largest urban parks in the United States. Established in 1896 through a generous donation of land by Colonel Thomas H. Swope, the park is a hub for recreation, entertainment, and natural beauty.
