Terry Park

Terry Park is a neighborhood park located in Billings, Montana, near the intersection of 5th Street West and Terry Avenue. The park covers an area of approximately 4 acres and serves as a popular recreational spot for local residents, especially during the summer months.

One of the main attractions at Terry Park is its splash pad, which provides a fun way for children to cool off on hot days. The park also features a playground with updated equipment, offering a safe and enjoyable space for children to play and socialize.

In addition to these amenities, Terry Park includes a ballfield, a basketball court, and an athletic field, catering to a variety of sports and outdoor activities. The park provides picnic sites for families and groups to gather, as well as public restrooms for visitor convenience.

In the spring of 2022, Terry Park underwent improvements, including the installation of new playground equipment. The selection of this equipment involved community participation, with citizens voting on their preferred design through a Facebook contest. The chosen playground design incorporates accessible and inclusive features, allowing children of all abilities to play together.

The park also includes a shelter that can be reserved for events or used on a first-come, first-served basis. This addition to the park was funded through an agreement with a cell phone company that purchased the right to install a tower at the nearby fire station.
