About City View Park in North Las Vegas
City View Park is a 13.02-acre public park located on East Cheyenne Avenue in North Las Vegas, Nevada. Established in 1968, this park is currently closed for construction until 2026.
The park features a distinctive waterfall and meandering stream that flows past trees, playgrounds, and picnic tables before emptying into a small pond. This pond serves as a year-round habitat for ducks and geese, and is also used for fishing derbies throughout the year.
City View Park offers several picnic areas, including a large group site with a barbecue pit. There is also an open field area suitable for casual soccer, football, or volleyball games. The park provides off-street parking and public restrooms for visitors' convenience.
As one of North Las Vegas' more interesting parks, City View aims to provide a diverse range of recreational opportunities for residents and visitors. However, it's important to note that the park is currently undergoing significant renovations and is not accessible to the public until the completion of construction work in 2026.
