Golden Valley Park

Golden Valley Park is a 20-acre community park located in the northern Reno suburb of Golden Valley, Nevada. Situated against the backdrop of Peavine Mountain and the Carson Range, the park offers recreational amenities for residents of the surrounding neighborhood.

The park features open grassy areas and paved walking paths, providing space for casual recreation and exercise. Two baseball fields, including one Little League field and one Babe Ruth field, are available for youth baseball games and practices. Tennis enthusiasts can make use of the park's two tennis courts.

For equestrian activities, Golden Valley Park includes a horse arena measuring approximately 290 feet by 145 feet. This arena provides a space for horseback riding and training within the park grounds.

Picnicking facilities are available, including a covered group picnic pavilion. While this pavilion is non-reservable, it offers shade and seating for casual gatherings. The park also contains multi-use turf areas that can accommodate various activities and sports.

Golden Valley Park serves as a local recreational hub for the Golden Valley community, offering a mix of structured sports facilities and open spaces for leisure activities. Its location in the quieter North Valleys area of Reno provides a more suburban park experience away from the busier parts of the city.
