About Riverview Park in Albuquerque

Riverview Park is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, near the intersection of Golf Course Road. The park provides a short, easy route through northwestern Albuquerque with open vistas and neighborhood views.

Riverview Park connects to other nearby trails and recreational areas. At its southern end, the park links to Mariposa Basin Park, which offers playgrounds, sports fields, and a picturesque pond. The Mariposa Basin Recreation Trail runs throughout that park, providing another option for exercise and enjoyment.

From Riverview Park, the trail proceeds north along a tree and shrub-lined corridor on the east side of Golf Course Road. It then leaves the road to run along a fence behind large suburban homes in a pleasant and secluded area. At its northern end, Riverview Park connects to the scenic Piedras Marcadas Trail, allowing visitors to extend their journey further east or northwest.
