Norwood Park

Norwood Park features two multi-purpose fields that can be used for activities like football or soccer. In 2022, the park received a significant upgrade with the installation of a new playground. This vibrant play area, designed by Parkitects and purchased from Landscape Structures, offers modern equipment for children to enjoy.

The playground is divided into two sections to accommodate different age groups. One area is specifically designed for children ages 2-5, while another section caters to kids 5 and older. The new play structures include features like slides and climbing apparatus made of thick ropes, providing varied options for active play.

Norwood Park is open daily from dawn to dusk, allowing residents to take advantage of its facilities throughout the day. As a public park managed by the City of Syracuse, it serves as an important community gathering space and recreational resource for local families and individuals.
