William R. Davie Regional Park

William R. Davie Park is a 107-acre regional park located at 4635 Pineville-Matthews Road in Charlotte, North Carolina. The park offers a variety of recreational facilities and outdoor spaces for visitors to enjoy.

The park features multiple sports fields, including four softball fields with lights and two lighted soccer fields. One of the soccer fields has natural grass, while the other is artificial turf. For basketball enthusiasts, there is a full court available, though it is not lighted.

William R. Davie Park also caters to dog owners with its dedicated dog park, known as Davie Dog Park. This fenced area provides a safe space for dogs to play off-leash and socialize with other canines.

For those seeking leisurely activities, the park offers two horseshoe pits, a volleyball court, and walking trails. Families with children can take advantage of the two playgrounds within the park grounds. Additionally, there is a pond on the property, adding to the park's natural appeal.
