C. M. Herndon Park is a 25.18-acre public park located in Durham, North Carolina. Managed by Durham Parks and Recreation, this versatile outdoor space offers a range of recreational facilities for residents and visitors.
The park features two artificial turf fields, including a championship field and a multipurpose field. The championship field, measuring 360 feet by 225 feet, is lined for both soccer and flag football and is equipped with field lights. This field is surrounded by a fence and includes player benches and soccer goals. Both turf fields are available for use year-round, making them suitable for various sports events and community activities.
