Vineyard Park is a community park located in Norman, Oklahoma. The park recently underwent significant renovations, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held on September 16, 2022 to celebrate the improvements.

The $180,000 renovation project, funded through the Norman Forward initiative, brought several new features to enhance the park's appeal and functionality. One of the key additions is a 2-deck playground, which includes Norman's first family slide, providing an exciting new attraction for children and families.

To improve safety and extend usability hours, the park now features solar and motion-activated lighting. This eco-friendly lighting solution helps illuminate the area during evening hours while conserving energy.

Shade structures have also been installed as part of the renovation, offering visitors respite from the sun on hot days and making the park more comfortable for extended stays.
