About Lubell Park in Tulsa
Lubell Park is a 40-acre green space located in west Tulsa's Mountain Manor neighborhood. The park features a multi-use trail system that caters to various outdoor activities. Opened in October 2021, Lubell Park is notable for being Oklahoma's first purpose-built adaptive mountain bike (aMTB) friendly trail, designed to accommodate a wide variety of off-road handcycles.
The park's main attraction is Mary's Loop, a bi-directional 2.2-mile gateway trail suitable for all skill levels. This trail is relatively wide and lacks steep sections or mandatory technical challenges, making it accessible to beginners while still offering enjoyment to more experienced users through its smooth surface and bermed corners.
In addition to Mary's Loop, Lubell Park features Hoke Hill, a 0.3-mile bike-specific one-way trail. This section includes a short intermediate-rated return trail leading to a jump line with multiple rollers and doubles, all of which can be "rolled" as users develop their skills and confidence.
The park also includes a set of wooden skill features in the southeast portion, consisting of a tabletop, a skinny, a rollable drop, and a double roller. These features can be incorporated into Mary's Loop or used as a separate short track for practice.
Lubell Park's trails were professionally designed and constructed by Rogue Trails, a company based in Arkansas. The project was supported by local bicycle clubs and has transformed the area, which was previously known for its aggressive tick population, into a well-maintained outdoor recreation space.
Located just minutes from downtown Tulsa and easily accessible from I-44 or Highway 75, Lubell Park offers a convenient escape into nature for city residents and visitors alike.
