About Stover Park in Bend

Stover Park is a small neighborhood park located in Bend, Oregon. Developed in partnership with the City of Bend and Kiwanis Club in 1972, the park spans 2.2 acres and serves as a popular recreational area for local residents.

The park is named after Byron "Dutch" Stover, a lifelong champion of children and local athletes in the Bend community. It features a youth baseball field that hosts high school fast pitch softball and little league baseball games. The outfield is separated from the playground area by a tall arborvitae hedge border, providing a clear distinction between play spaces.

Stover Park's playground area is surrounded by several shade trees, offering a comfortable environment for families and children. The park also includes an open lawn area, providing additional space for various activities and relaxation.

The park is open daily from 5 am to 10 pm, allowing visitors to enjoy its facilities throughout the day. Street parking is available for those accessing the park by car.
