James Park

James Park is a small, 3-acre park located in the Glenwood neighborhood of Springfield, Oregon, near Eugene. The park features a ballpark and grassy areas, providing a local recreational space for residents.

James Park holds historical significance as it was the first park established in the Willamalane Park and Recreation District, which was created in 1944. This makes it an important landmark in the development of public spaces in the area.

The park has served as the home field for the Northwest Christian University (now Bushnell University) Beacon softball program for over a decade, highlighting its role in supporting local collegiate athletics.
