Portland Heights Park is a 5.08-acre (2.06 ha) public park located in southwest Portland, Oregon. Situated at the intersection of SW Patton Road and Old Orchard Road, this neighborhood park offers a blend of recreational facilities and green spaces for visitors to enjoy.
The park's history dates back to the 1920s when it was owned by Mayannah and Boudinot Seeley, who allowed neighbors to use the property for games and recreation. In 1924, the Portland Heights Club presented a preliminary plan to the City for the site's development. Between 1925 and 1927, the City built a playground, which was operated by the Portland Heights Playground Association (PHPA). In 1929, the Seeleys sold the property to the PHPA, who raised funds for the purchase through subscription. Finally, in 1943, the site was deeded to the City of Portland.
Portland Heights Park features a variety of amenities catering to different age groups and interests. The park includes an accessible play area with engineered mulch surface and a ramp, making it inclusive for children of all abilities.
