Awbury Park

Awbury Park is a public green space located in the East Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The park is part of the larger Awbury Historic District, which encompasses the former summer homes and farms of the extended Cope family, who moved to the area starting in 1849.

The park comprises approximately 28 acres of land that was acquired by the Fairmount Park Commission in 1921. It features rolling hills, open fields, and a variety of mature trees, providing a natural oasis within the urban landscape of Philadelphia. The park's undulating topography is shaded by mature honey locust and oak trees, while dogwood and other shrubs offer year-round visual interest.
