Village Creek Natural Area is a 135-acre park located in Arlington, Texas. The area is named after Village Creek, which flows through the park and was historically home to several Native American villages along its banks.
Archaeological excavations in the area have unearthed evidence of prehistoric settlements, with artifacts dating back almost 9,000 years. These findings represent a culture of food-gatherers and hunters who once inhabited the region. In the 1830s, the creek served as a sanctuary for several Indian tribes.
