Parker Park

Parker Park is a public recreational area located in Corpus Christi, Texas. The park is situated in the Flour Bluff neighborhood, providing local residents with a space for outdoor activities and community gatherings.

As of March 2025, Parker Park has undergone recent improvements and additions to enhance its offerings for visitors. One of the most notable new features is the dog park, which opened in February 2025. This addition provides separate areas for small and large dogs, allowing pet owners in the Flour Bluff area a dedicated space for their canine companions to exercise and socialize.

The park also features tennis courts. For families with children, there is a playground area with play equipment. Picnic facilities are available, including at least one picnic table and a pavilion that can be rented for special events.

Parker Park includes an adjacent swimming pool, offering residents a place to cool off during the hot Texas summers. The park grounds also provide space for general recreation and relaxation, with areas suitable for walking or enjoying the outdoors.

The city has shown commitment to improving its parks, with Parker Park being among those slated for upgrades, including the addition of pickleball courts alongside the existing tennis facilities.
