Shepherd's Glen Park

Shepherd's Glen Park is a 14-acre public park located in Frisco, Texas. Originally constructed in 2006, the park provides recreational amenities for residents in the surrounding neighborhood. The park features a walking trail that circles the perimeter, offering opportunities for exercise and leisurely strolls.

One of the main attractions at Shepherd's Glen Park is the splash pad, which provides a fun water play area for children during the warmer months. The splash pad operates from May 15 through September 30 each year, with daily hours from 8 AM to 8 PM.

In addition to the splash pad, the park contains a playground for children. There is also a practice field available for rectangular sports like soccer or football. For visitors looking to relax, the park offers picnic areas and benches scattered throughout the grounds.

Shepherd's Glen Park is currently undergoing renovations and improvements as part of a reinvestment project by the City of Frisco. The planned upgrades include expanding the splash pad area, adding larger playground elements, retrofitting existing shade structures, creating new parking areas and pedestrian paths, and incorporating native landscaping. The project also aims to enhance the park's public art installations.

While the park provides recreational amenities, it's worth noting that there are no permanent restroom facilities on-site. The park is conveniently located near the intersection of Rolater Road and Coit Road in Frisco.
