Lon Wynne Park

Wynne Park is a 16.9-acre neighborhood park located on West Centerville Road in Garland, Texas, approximately 1.5 miles northeast of Interstate 635. The park features 4.2 developed acres, with the remaining area consisting of natural wooded spaces.

The park's playground is a notable attraction, offering an upgraded slide and a unique hexagonal net with attached swinging tires. A new surface spinner has been added to accommodate residents of all ages and abilities, promoting inclusive play. During summer months, children can enjoy the recently installed splashpad, which operates from May 15 through October 5.

For those seeking physical activity, Wynne Park provides a 0.3-mile paved trail and a basketball/multi-purpose court. The park also includes picnic areas with tables and a shelter, allowing visitors to relax and enjoy outdoor meals.
