About Rotary Park in Everett
Rotary Park is an 11.3-acre public park located along the Snohomish River in Everett, Washington. The park was adopted by the Everett Rotary and offers a variety of recreational opportunities for visitors.
One of the main features of Rotary Park is its boat launch facility, which provides access to the Snohomish River system for small river boats between 12 and 18 feet in length. The boat launch includes two lanes with a central dock and is usable at tides of +1.5 or higher. Visitors should be aware that the launch is not recommended for use during low tides due to hazardous sandbars and stumps.
The park offers paved parking for 35 vehicles with trailers, as well as overflow parking along the roadway shoulder for an additional 10 vehicles and trailers. Vault restrooms are available on-site, though they do not have running water.
Rotary Park is connected to the Lowell Riverfront Trail, which provides opportunities for walking, biking, and dog-walking. The trail offers scenic views of the mountains and river. Fishing is also permitted in designated areas of the park.
The park is open from 6 am until dusk, allowing visitors to enjoy its natural surroundings throughout the day. It's important to note that the City of Everett Parks department has adopted a "Pack It In Pack It Out" policy, encouraging visitors to take their trash with them when they leave.
