Edgewater Park

Edgewater Park is a 55-acre public park located along the banks of the Skagit River in Mount Vernon, Washington. The park offers scenic views of the river and surrounding landscape. It serves as a popular recreational destination for both locals and visitors to the area.

The park features a large open grass area suitable for various activities and events. A playground provides entertainment for children, while several sports fields accommodate baseball, softball and soccer. For water recreation, the park includes a boat launch allowing access to the Skagit River.

One of the park's notable features is its championship-length disc golf course. Opened in May 2019, the 18-hole course spans the entire length of the park, offering a challenging experience for disc golf enthusiasts. There are plans to potentially add another nine holes in the future.

Edgewater Park also contains a large concert stage, making it a venue for summertime events and performances. The park hosts major annual events like the Highland Games and Skagit River Salmon Festival. Its proximity to downtown Mount Vernon provides convenient access for visitors.
