Lake Meridian Park

Lake Meridian Park is a 19.6-acre public park located in Kent, Washington. Situated around Lake Meridian, the park offers a blend of water-based and land activities for visitors. The centerpiece of the park is the lake itself, which allows for various recreational activities including swimming, fishing, and boating.

The park features a designated swimming area with a sandy beach, which is particularly popular during the warmer months. Lifeguards are typically on duty during peak summer periods to ensure visitor safety. For those interested in fishing, the lake is stocked with several fish species including Rainbow Trout, Kokanee, Largemouth Bass, Yellow Perch, and Brown Bullhead.

Lake Meridian Park also caters to boating enthusiasts with a boat launch facility. It's worth noting that this is one of the few lakes in King County that permits motorized boats, though the lake is patrolled by the Kent Police Department to ensure adherence to water safety regulations.
