Belltown Cottage Park

Belltown Cottage Park & P-Patch is a unique urban green space located in the Belltown neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. The park features three historic cottages that date back to 1916, when they were built as housing for maritime workers. These cottages, which narrowly escaped demolition in the 1960s, now stand as a reminder of the area's working-class roots amid the modern high-rise buildings of downtown Seattle.

Adjacent to the cottages is the Belltown P-Patch, a community garden that adds vibrant color and life to the urban landscape. The P-Patch program, initiated in the 1970s, allows local residents to rent small plots for growing vegetables, fruits, and flowers. This particular P-Patch was established in the 1980s when local artists and activists began planting in the area where three other cottages had previously stood.

The park serves as both a historical site and a gathering place for the community.
