West Ewing Mini Park

West Ewing Mini Park is a small urban green space located in Seattle, Washington. Situated near W Ewing St., this compact park offers a peaceful retreat near the Lake Washington Ship Canal and Seattle Pacific University. The park features a grassy area and an upper concrete overlook with benches, providing visitors with a place to relax and enjoy views of the canal.

This mini park serves as a popular spot for students from nearby Seattle Pacific University and workers from local manufacturing plants to take breaks and enjoy their lunches. The park's location along the Ship Canal also makes it an ideal vantage point for watching boats pass by.

West Ewing Mini Park is open from 4 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. daily, allowing visitors to enjoy the space throughout most of the day and evening. While small in size, the park offers a tranquil environment within the urban setting of Seattle, providing a brief escape from the city's hustle and bustle.

It's worth noting that as of July 2020, the park and adjacent parking lot were scheduled for temporary closure due to the Ship Canal Water Quality Project. This project involves the installation of new infrastructure to improve water quality in the area.
