About Northwoods Park in Spokane
Northwoods Community Park is located in suburban north Spokane, Washington, adjacent to Brentwood Elementary School. The park spans 5 acres and offers a natural setting within a developed community. It was established in 1965 when the Spokane County Parks Department acquired the land that had been set aside for park use by developers of the Brentwood-Fairwood Crest neighborhoods.

The park features a playground for children, making it a popular destination for families in the area. Additionally, there are restroom facilities available for visitor convenience. A picnic shelter measuring 34 feet by 34 feet is also present, offering a space for gatherings and outdoor meals. However, it's worth noting that the shelter does not have electrical outlets or water access.
