The park includes a gravel walking loop that encircles the playfields, offering visitors a convenient path for leisurely strolls or exercise. This walking path connects to a newly designed playground, which has been thoughtfully constructed with accessibility and safety in mind. The playground features fall surfacing to ensure a safe play environment for children, as well as concrete curbing that enhances both the aesthetic appeal and safety of the area.

Accessibility is a key focus at Lidford Playfield, with ADA-accessible parking available for visitors. The park also includes an ADA access ramp and a concrete connection linking the playground to the gravel walking loop, facilitating seamless navigation throughout the park for all visitors.
