Frenchman's Bar Regional Park is a 120-acre regional park located along the Columbia River, about 2 miles west of Vancouver Lake Park in Vancouver, Washington. The park was dedicated in 1997 and offers visitors a variety of outdoor recreational opportunities.
The park features a wide sandy beach along the Columbia River shoreline, providing access for swimming and views of the river. A 2.5-mile paved trail connects Frenchman's Bar Regional Park to Vancouver Lake Park. This 12-foot wide shared-use path is suitable for walking, jogging, biking and horseback riding. The trail traverses along the Columbia River, offering scenic views of the water and surrounding landscape.
The park includes open grassy areas suitable for picnicking and recreational activities. There are picnic tables, barbecue pits, and covered picnic shelters available for visitors to use. An outdoor amphitheater provides a venue for community events and performances.
