Heritage Heights Park

Heritage Heights Park is a beautiful neighborhood park located on Madison's east side, near Kennedy Elementary School and adjacent to Heritage Sanctuary. Spanning 8.11 acres, this park offers a variety of recreational facilities for residents and visitors to enjoy.

The park features a seasonal ice rink, which is maintained through the Adopt Ice Partnership Program. During winter months, volunteers assist in maintaining the ice, typically in the evening hours. The ice rink is a NiceRink®, an above-ground, framed liner that allows water to freeze quicker and stay frozen longer, extending the skating season.

In addition to winter activities, Heritage Heights Park provides amenities for year-round use. The park includes a playground with equipment for children to enjoy, as well as sports facilities such as basketball and tennis courts. For those looking to engage in field sports, the park offers open multipurpose fields suitable for various activities.

A picnic shelter is available for gatherings and can be reserved for events. The shelter provides a convenient space for community members to come together and enjoy outdoor meals or celebrations. Throughout the park, visitors can find picnic tables for casual use.
