Rock Quarry County Park

Rock Quarry Park is a public recreational area located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The park spans over 46 acres and offers a variety of outdoor activities and facilities for visitors. Situated within the park grounds are the Edison Johnson Recreation Center, Aquatics Center, and Sprayground, providing diverse options for recreation and leisure.

Between the recreation center and aquatics center, visitors can find a playground, sprayground, picnic tables, and a grill, making it an ideal spot for families and groups to gather. A short trail connects these facilities to a large field and tennis courts, allowing for easy navigation throughout the park.

The park is known for hosting various festivals and events throughout the year, contributing to its role as a community gathering space. For sports enthusiasts, Rock Quarry Park features athletic fields and tennis courts, some of which are lighted for evening use.

It's worth noting that as of March 2025, there were some issues affecting the lights on tennis courts 5-8, which park management was working to address.
