Shady Birch Park

Shady Birch Park is a small urban green space located in Anchorage, Alaska. The park encompasses just under two acres of undeveloped land, providing a pocket of nature within the city.

In 2012, the park underwent some improvements as part of a neighborhood fix-it initiative. Volunteers worked to beautify the park by laying mulch, trimming trees and bushes, and pulling weeds. They also painted a new children's activity area and fence. Additionally, contractors added some larger amenities to enhance the park's recreational offerings.
