The park features a small man-made lake, known as Evelyn Hallman Pond, which lies on the east side of the Cross Cut Canal. This pond is a focal point of the park, offering urban fishing opportunities for visitors. The Arizona Game and Fish Department stocks the pond with fish species including rainbow trout, largemouth bass, sunfish, channel catfish, tilapia, and carp.
