About Agricultural Park in Fayetteville
Agricultural Park, also known as Agri Park, is an 8-acre plot of land located in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The park is part of the University of Arkansas' on-campus agricultural area and serves multiple purposes for both the university and the local community.
The park features a lighted pavilion that is available for public rental. This pavilion includes a small kitchen, two restrooms, and a fireplace for guests to use. The park's versatile space makes it suitable for a variety of events, including birthday parties, picnics, retreats, family reunions, and 5k races.
Agri Park is also home to the university's dedicated cross country course, providing an excellent practice and competition area for the men's and women's cross country teams. The course configuration includes three distinct areas: an open starting chute area, Razorback Meadow, and a pond section. This layout allows for various race distances, from short fun runs to collegiate 10,000-meter events.
The park is open for reservations from April 1st through October 31st each year, with operating hours from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm daily, excluding holidays. Its location north of the main University of Arkansas campus makes it easily accessible for both university-related activities and community events.
