About Pinkley Park in Costa Mesa

Pinkley Park is a 2.58-acre public park located on E. Ogle Street in Costa Mesa, California. The park was named after Alvin "Pink" Pinkley, one of Costa Mesa's founding fathers. Mr. Pinkley was elected to the city's second City Council in 1954 and went on to serve for 23 years, including three terms as mayor. The park was dedicated in 1978.

This neighborhood park features a children's playground area with some unique elements. The playground includes small shade sails to provide relief from the sun, and the ground is covered with woodchips. Some of the fun features for children include butterfly wings to climb on, a drum, a steering wheel, and slides.

Pinkley Park offers a mix of open spaces and shaded areas, making it suitable for various activities. There are picnic tables available, including one located next to the playground, which makes it convenient for families to enjoy outdoor meals while supervising children.
